…And the Winner of the Lenovo All-in-One m90z

A huge thank you to everyone who entered the contest. There were a total of 135 submissions so it took my judge (Monica) a bit of time to read all of the entries and narrow those down to a handful (which were then thrown into the random name selector that I had found a few weeks back on @rmbyrne blog).

The winner is Cristina L. in Ocala, Florida. Needless to say she was super excited to get my voicemail and email alerting her that she had won.

I look forward to getting an update (and hopefully a picture) from Cristina after she receives the machine and starts to use it.

For those of you who didn’t win but are interested in purchasing you can get all of the details here.

A quick list of people I want to thank:

  • Of course, Lenovo and Ivy Worldwide for choosing me to participate in this group
  • Shelly Kramer with V3 Integrated Marketing who gave me the idea on how to structure my contest
  • A really, really long list for each of my Twitter friends who tweeted about the contest and helped spread the word
  • Stacey Monk with Epic Change who allowed me to spread the word through her non-profit group on Facebook (please check out what Epic Change is doing to make the world a better place….really great stuff over there)
  • My friend, Melissa Studdard, who made the connection to my judge, Monica
  • Monica, I thank you for taking the time to read all of the entries and to make what must have been a very difficult decision.

Matti – I can’t wait to get feedback from Cristina once she’s received the unit and has had a chance to “play” with it.

  • Cristina L.

Hi, this is Cristina.  I won the coveted Lenovo and I am so excited.  I couldn’t believe it when I got the message from Michelle saying that I had won.  I was so excited, I started screaming and my sister thought I had gone crazy.   I received it Thursday afternoon and have been ’playing’ with it these past two days.  There is so much to learn on this amazing computer.  The touch screen is super cool.  I keep arranging and resizing my windows just to see all it can do.  I am still reading up on the important stuff on how to get the most out of my computer and how to keep it running smooth. I love the speed with which the pages load and the fact that this computer takes up very little space (even with a 23″ screen).  Thanks Michelle!

      Cristina:

Okay, I’m laughing just a bit now because apparently you posted this comment before I even sent you the tracking info!

Isn’t the computer so incredibly awesome?

I look forward to getting an email from you with the features you like most and whatever else you want to include. As I mentioned I’d love to do a follow-up blog post about you and the new computer.

      Congrats again!

Hey, it’s Cristina again.  I forgot I had registered on Disqus.  But I wanted to thanks Monica also for reading the entries and giving me the chance to win the Lenovo computer.
