Nice work on your website here. I too am trying to build a web prescence for my small home remodeling business. Its a long story, but I’m not very good at this web coding stuff. I like the site theme you have used here and was wondering what it was named? I bought Brian Gardner’s theme but after about 2 weeks…I just gave up. It was way too complex for my simple mind. I want to supplement my bills in the winter time and thought I could do it by blogging. Its going to be a long road ahead. Anyway, I just stumbled across your article here and am glad to have met you. virtually of course .

Joseph – OMgosh, I so had not realized that Charlie “Tremendous” Jones had passed away until I read this comment of yours. Then I immediately went out to the web and saw that he passed away over a year ago. How sad as I had also met him in real life at the Jim Rohn seminar I had attended in Dallas a few years back.

Yes, you/Charlie are right – we will be the same in five years, except for those two things!

And likewise, meeting you has been one of the most wonderful things of 2009!

Awesome post Michelle! It reminds of the great quote from the late Charlie “Tremendous” Jones:
“You are the same today you’ll be in five years except for two things: the people you meet and the books you read.”

Meeting you has been a gift, as I am certain it has been to countless other people you’ve met – both online and in “real life.”

I always read all my blog comments and try to learn stuff from people come commenting on my blog. I also participate actively in other blogs and comment there. Just beign in contact with other people makes me learn a lot.

You got it right. Running a business, means that you have to be constantly improving. It is the key to success.
