Virtual Assistant Training Program (6 Week Online Course)

in Virtual Assistant Industry

Last night (Thursday, Feb. 7th) Tess (Virtual Assistant Forums) and I had a great call with fellow Virtual Assistants, many who are thinking about or have recently started their businesses. Tess and I each shared our “Five Things I Wish I Had Known Before Starting My Virtual Assistant Business”. The audience asked some really great questions as well.

What I loved most about our call….discovering that we’ve made some of the same mistakes. In my case I imagine there will be many more.

Years ago a friend gave me sage advice – “Learn from others’ mistakes. You won’t live long enough to make them all yourself.”

When I was prepping to start my business in 2008 the only training I could find was approximately $2,000. I could have paid the $2,000 but I did not see the value or return on the potential investment.

Photoxpress 2646163 w800 h600 210x300 Virtual Assistant Training Program (6 Week Online Course)If I had invested $2,000 into training to become a virtual assistant I have often wondered if I would have more than $29,120.57 (gross) in my first year.

I know, without a doubt, the following:

  • I would have made considerably less mistakes
  • My contracts would have been much better
  • I may not have had a client entirely stiff me on a $685.07 invoice because I would have collected a deposit upfront
  • I would be working less hours than I am now but making the same (or more money)

I could add probably another 15-20 things to a list of “what would have been different” and chances are I would have long ago recouped the $2,000 training fee.

I encourage you, if you’re just starting out or relatively new, to invest in yourself. Invest in your business. Learn from other’s mistakes.

Join my six week online “Become a Virtual Assistant” course. Best of all, it’s not $2,000! At only $249 it’s an incredible steal. What qualifies me to teach this course? I’ve made every mistake you can possibly imagine and yet by year three I grossed over $100K.

There are only two spaces left in and we start on Tuesday, February 12, 2013. Do it! You’ll be glad you did.

Have you been wondering "How Do I Start A Virtual Assistant Business? or "How To Find Virtual Assistant Jobs?".

I have started using http://www.sgsolutionsus.com VA for almost 2 years so far it’s beed a great experience. They have a web development and SEO team also working along with the VA’s so that basically takes care of all my business needs. I guess that’s one advantage of working with a VA company. Will let you know if my opinion changes about them though, but so far so good.
