Honestly, Excel is one of my favorite software applications but it’s also one I find hard to describe on a services page.

Here are some good questions to ask yourself – if you answer yes to any of these chances are I can help make your spreadsheet more efficient so you spend less time with the data entry and verifying data and more time doing something else you enjoy – coffee with friends, golf, reading, whatever you happen to like.

  1. Do you often ask yourself, “I wonder if I could do xxxx in Excel?”
  2. Ever mumble to yourself because some unknowing person deleted your formulas?
  3. Do you have particular fields you want to have very specific data entered into?
  4. Need to easily and quickly find and remove duplicates?

If you think it can be done in Excel it probably can!

You can check some of my previous blog posts to see some “visual” examples of tips & tricks that will save you time.

Here are some examples of various spreadsheets I have created for clients to reduce redundancy, errors and increase efficiency.

  • Create forms with drop down boxes for frequently typed data, to prevent spelling errors and reduce amount of keystrokes to enter in information.
  • Create budget spreadsheet for annual property budget.
  • Automated water/sewer billing spreadsheet. Input electronic reads, make modifications based on new move ins and new move outs. Merge into actual bill, print and distribute.
  • Use conditional formatting in spreadsheets to make pertinent data very easy to find, e.g. use conditional formatting in three-sheet supply ordering spreadsheet so that items that need to be purchased are very quickly and easily identified.

Excel work billed hourly at $40/hour.

Any programming that needs to be done will be bid prior to start of project.
