I am honored to be a part of this dynamic team of individuals. During the month of April Laura hosted several Virtual Assistants and business owners who utilized Virtual Assistants in their own business on her talk show. I was one of those guests. As a result of that event Laura and I developed a relationship and she was so kind to allow me the opportunity to become a part of this new venture.
With Laura’s leadership and insight myself, Suzie Poirier, Patti Dragland, John Lusher and Darcee Sellers have created a self-paced training program for individuals interested in becoming a business owner.

Laura Kennedy is a Retired Navy Senior Chief, former military spouse & Brick & Mortar Business Consultant. Laura is the Team Leader and her individual mission is to help military spouses & their dependents achieve the financial and personal satisfaction associated with owning their own business. She does this through intensive one-on-one coaching, training, and motivation that is unique to that particular client.

Laura walks each client through brand development, website traffic growth & strategic overhead planning.
Patti Dragland has family ties to the military go back to both WWII and Seoul Korea. As a Strategist/Mentor in Leadership Development, Mentoring, Customer Service, Plans of Action and Career Coaching, Patti and her company, Strategic Sense Inc., assists clients world-wide to determine the best career choice for a business based on ability, strengths, education and history.
She is the creator of 14 Weeks of Managers Making the Mark ™ and In The Lead Seat ™ One-on-one leadership training programs for new and existing managers. Her Career Directions program was created to assist people in finding their passion and applying it to developing the career for which they are most suited.
She is a dynamic speaker, holds the stage as ‘Diva’ from Diva and The Guy, is listed as one of the 101 Women Bloggers to watch in 2009 by WE Magazine for Women, Writes Articles for various business and women magazines, works with groups and individuals in the areas of leadership, careers, customer service and plans of action. In addition to her very busy work with Strategic Sense, she volunteers as Board Chair for Providence, a Health, Education and Therapy Centre for Preschool Children with disabilities.
John Lusher joins our team as a Social & Digital Media Consultant. He comes from a long bloodline of military leaders. John is a ten-year veteran of incorporating social media, social networking, web, mobile and digital technologies to build robust relationships for individuals, non-profit organizations, and businesses. These strategies encompass improving online business communications such as PR and marketing with the implementation of social media, social networking, community involvement, and other emerging technologies.
Prior to developing his Social Media Consulting Business, John spent 20 years in direct business development in the telecommunications and technology industry. Working with small-to-medium businesses, he managed clients who were spending in excess of one million dollars per year on technology and telecommunications.
Darcee Sellers is the daughter of a Korean War Veteran and now the proud owner of Digits Plus, a virtually based business. Darcee has built a solid reputation as a qualified bookkeeper, virtual administrative professional and business consultant. Darcee has a strong managerial background of over 20 years working in various industries as well as owning her own business.
Suzie Poirier is not only the daughter of a Navy Veteran, but the owner of Ace Concierge, LLC, & NH Virtual Assistant, which has been providing both personal and virtual executive assistant services for businesses and individuals alike for the last 7 1/2 years. Suzie is an experienced professional and entrepreneur with over 27 years in business administration and customer relationship management.
Michelle Mangen comes from a long blood line of military men which was only the foundation to her strong, independent spirit that helped her to become the founder of “Your Virtual Assistant” based out of Neenah, WI. Michelle has 13 years of bookkeeping and accounting background as well as having been employed as an Executive Administrator for a Milwaukee Real Estate Development & Property Management Company for six years. Michelle sets the bar for standards in bookkeeping, Excel and record-keeping.
