I’ve been reading The Viral Garden for some time now after another Virtual Assistant, @TargetStars, told me it was one of her favorites.

The “Social Media is Worth Making Time For” post that Mack had this week really hit home for me.

I’ve consulted and prompted many of my clients to blog more frequently as I know, first hand, the difference that it makes. However, like Mack mentions in his post, he has often put his own blog on the back burner while he’s helping his clients get their social media efforts off the ground.

How does a small business owner find time to blog when they are wearing all the hats of a larger business?

Outsourcing those tasks to a Virtual Assistant is certainly an attractive option. While I do not offer writing services if you have been thinking about outsourcing your blog posts or article marketing I would highly recommend Latosha Johnson at Target Stars. That is her forte and a core offering of her Virtual Assistant services.

In the newsletter I sent out yesterday I mentioned that blogging and then bookmarking my blog posts to the Social Bookmarking sites (StumbleUpon, Digg, Delicious, etc.) has resulted in a 208% increase in traffic to my website. If you are already blogging and would like to outsource the Social Bookmarking aspect contact me today. I have Social Bookmarking packages available for as low as $60 month.

Small business owners of all industries can relate to the “pain” of not having enough time to do it all…that is why we must outsource what we do not have the time to maintain on a consistent basis or do not have the knowledge to handle the task efficiently.

Michelle you are so right about blogging and bookmarking it is a great asset to any website and should be part of any SEO strategy. I also have to agree with the point that I tend to put my business last and all my clients first, in some ways that is good – for my clients, but not good for growing my business. You have to find that happy medium for both.
